In 2009, at just 4 years old, I experienced the internet for the first time.

My memories of that era are a bit hazy, yet I distinctly remember the unique and wild aesthetic of websites back then. Each site boasted its own unique styling, featuring quirky fonts, perhaps bright colors, and goofy/unconventional layouts.

I believe these sites were more then just sites.

They were a reflection of the individual creativity in their designers.

Some Web 1.0 sites that remain online are like Art...

Fast forward to today, the Web has significantly evolved, becoming much more streamlined and modern, with a vast majority of sites (98.7%, to be precise) utilizing JavaScript.

This obviously isn't a bad development by any means... JS is awesome.

However, as an 18-year-old who only caught a glimpse of that bygone web era, I felt a strong sense of nostalgia for the time when the internet felt more like the Wild West.

With this in mind, I created this site.

Here, you'll find a personal profile about me, infused with a Web 1.0 vibe as an homage to that period of individualism on the internet.

I coded this entire site from scratch using only HTML and CSS, intentionally avoiding JavaScript to maintain the aesthetic (though I am well-versed in JS)...

Thanks.
